PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and weight and to improve efficiency while securing favorable sealing performance in a seal portion of a pump. SOLUTION: A rotation shaft 61 provided at the center of a stator 64 is connected to a rear end of a rotor 65 provided on an outer circumferential side of the stator 64 with a connecting board portion 66. A turning force of the rotor 65 is transmitted to the rotation shaft 61 through the connecting board portion 66 for rotation. An outer circumference of a driving portion 52 is covered by a casing 54, and a mechanical seal 67 for preventing intrusion of water into the driving portion 52 from around the rotation shaft 61 is provided, being fixed to the casing 54 between the driving portion 52 and an impeller 68.
