PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravity type harbor structure which can secure a habitat that is large enough to grow aquatic life and seaweeds by using a caisson of which the size is minimum as required, and further, can be also used as a mooring pier or the like. SOLUTION: The caisson 1 having a front wall 2, a partition wall 5, and a rear wall 3 that have opening parts 2a, 5a, 3a at each upper part is installed on a debris mound 21. A filling material 11 is filled into the lower part inside the caisson 1, and an inclined face of a stone piling material 12 is formed at the upper part via a suction preventive member 13. The inclined face of the stone piling material 12 continues above and below the low tide level (L.W.L) and the high tide level (H.W.L), an artificial shore is formed between the lower face of an upper part slub 8 and the stone piling material 12 and in a space on the rear face of the structure, and an environment suitable for growing aquatic life is provided.
