METHOD FOR REFINING OLIGOMER OF 1,3-DIOLEFINS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrially advantageous after-treatment method in oligomerization of 1,3-diolefins using a catalyst containing a titanium compound and an aluminum compound. SOLUTION: 1,3-Diolefins are brought into contact with a catalyst containing the titanium compound and the aluminum compound in a liquid phase to obtain the oligomer of 1,3-diolefins and the oligomer is refined from the resultant reaction mixture solution. The refining method comprises a step for removing a water layer containing a catalytic component by adding carboxylic acid or its salt and water to the reaction mixture solution.
