PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a karaoke grading apparatus for adding interest to graded results and warming up the mood. SOLUTION: Two parameters of pitch and volume in a microphone vocal and a model vocal are compared. The coincidence is repeatedly found during a predetermined interval of a song. A grade value is calculated by accumulating an increase and decrease value based on the found coincidence only when the volume of the model vocal is greater than a predetermined value. The calculated grade value is limited by the maximum score and the minimum score. Since the increase and decrease value is set and the grade value reaches the maximum score during the predetermined interval of the song when the grade value continuously increases and the grade value reaches the minimum score during the predetermined interval of the song when the grade value continuously decreases, the grade value can not be stored even if the first half is in an excellent condition and the maximum score is lost by failure in the second half. Conversely, since the grade value is not below the minimum score even if the first half is out of tune, the maximum score can be obtained by tenacity in the second half. |
