PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sensitive recording material, which has high color developing density, small ground fogging, is excellent in the preservability of an image part, ground light resistance and in the resistance to chemicals of the image part and of a ground part and, at the same time, is equipped with ink jet recordability. SOLUTION: In the heat sensitive recording material having a heat sensitive color developing layer including an electron donative colorless dye, an electron acceptive compound and a sensitizer on a support, the heat sensitive color developing layer includes 2-anilino-3-methyl-6-(N-ethyl-N-p-benzyl) aminofluoran as the electron donative colorless dye and 4-hydroxybenzene sulfonanilide as the electron acceptive compound. |
