PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction stirring type jointing device enabling a jointing without formation of any recessed portion or cavity. SOLUTION: The friction stirring type jointing device 1 is provided with a rotor 2 and a servo motor 4, and the rotor 2 comprises a rotor supporting member 3 and a rotor main body 9. A turning force is transmitted from the servo motor 4 to the rotor supporting member 3 via a timing belt 24. A guide hole 17 is formed on the rotor 2 along an axis line L, into which a metal material bar 8 is inserted. The metal material bar 8 is pushed down from a delivery means 23 provided on upper side, and feeded out from the end of a pin 7. In jointing, the feeded metal material bar 8 is softened and stirred by the frictional heat generated due to rotation of the rotor 2, to be jointed as one together with a base metal. |
