PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress chatter by a simple structure without being affected by heat generated in cutting. SOLUTION: A hollow portion 15 is formed inside a tip end of a tool body 11. An end 17A of a weight member 17 is connected to an inside wall surface 16A at the tip end side of the hollow portion 15. A gap between the outside surface of the weight member 17 and the inside wall surface 16 of the hollow portion 15 is filled with a viscoelastic substance 18. One end 17A of the weight member 17 is made of a small-diameter rod. A tool body 11 is separable at a parting plane P, which is located at the base side of the hollow portion 15, so as to be mounted and dismounted.
