PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cogeneration system and its control method capable of effectively using energy by changing thermoelectric ratio of the cogeneration system according to quantity used of electricity and heat energy of facilities used. SOLUTION: The system includes a regenerator 1 capable of optionally changing heat-exchange quantity of heat quantity of exhaust gas discharged from a gas turbine 7 and combustion air fed from a compressor 2. By installing a device for adjusting quantity of combustion air introduced into the compressor 2 and combustion state of a combustor 4 according to the heat-exchange quantity of the regenerator 2, operating condition according to each thermoelectric ratio can be maintained.
