PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator having enhanced sanitary characteristics by preventing condensation from occurring on the periphery of a sealing means. SOLUTION: The refrigerator comprises: a storage compartment disposed in the inside of a box body; a door provided on the front side of the compartment for opening and closing an opening allowing the interior and the exterior of the compartment to communicate with each other; and the sealing means disposed in a gap between the box body and the door and brought into contact with the surfaces of the body and the door in the state of being closed with the door. The refrigerator further comprises a thermal conductor member having one end side thereof connected with the inside of a surface plate of the door or the body facing the gap between the sealing means and a throat through which the gap communicates with the exterior of the refrigerator and the other end connected with the interior side of part of the surface of the door facing the exterior side of the refrigerator.
