摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a device and improve the reliability of measured data in the mechanization of dimensional measurement of an elevator. SOLUTION: The device is composed of a laser range finder 11 which measures the distance to an object by using laser light 4, a rotating mirror 13b (i.e., rotating and scanning means 13) which horizontally rotates and scans the optical axis of the laser light 4 projected by the laser range finder 11, a means for changing direction of laser light 14 which receives the laser light 4 from the mirror 13b and changes its direction vertically and projects it toward the object, and a computer 12 which makes such a judgement that measured range data obtained through a mirror 14a of the means for changing direction of laser light 14 is valid, and measured range data obtained through a case 14b of the means for changing direction of laser light 14 is invalid. Thereby, the horizontal and vertical distances of the object can be measured using one laser range finder, and the reliability of measured range data can be improved.
