PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooking apparatus wherein an infrared sensor accurately detects the temperature of any food. SOLUTION: In an infrared sensor unit 1, an infrared sensor is accommodated in a sensor case. The infrared sensor catches infrared rays emitted from a food in a heating chamber through a detection hole and a filter, and detects the temperature of the food. The sensor case is formed by plating molded resin with Ni-Cu. Once air is sent to the infrared sensor unit 1 with a cooling fan 35 disposed below a body 10, the infrared sensor unit 1 is easily cooled to improve the accuracy of the infrared sensor 4.
