PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a false twisted composite slub yarn having crisp touch, dry touch and soft touch similar to natural hemp yarns and the natural irregular appearance which has not been available and is very mild and in which irregular touch given by the false twist slub yarn and irregular touch given by thick and thin polyester multifilament are harmonized and suitable for casual materials. SOLUTION: The method for producing a special false twisted composite yarn is to ply the false twisted slub yarn A made by forming single to triple wound structures using the polyester multifilament b around the polyester multifilament a with the polyester multifilament B being thick and thin in the longitudinal direction of the fiber length. The method for producing the false twisted composite yarn is to ply the false twisted slub yarn A with the polyester multifilament B being thick and thin in the longitudinal direction of the fiber length in the same direction as the actually twisted direction of the triple wound structure part in the false twisted slub yarn A in <800 T/M number of twist.
