PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely improve durability of a bead part of a pneumatic tire. SOLUTION: By rolling the pneumatic tire 10 under load, tension is repeatedly applied to a main body 16A side of carcass ply 16 folding back a bead core 12 to make rubber between the bead core 12 and the carcass ply 16 flow out. A high modulus rubber layer 21 made of rubber having 100% extension modulus higher than 100% extension modulus of ply coating rubber 19 by 20 to 30% is provided between the carcass ply 16 and the bead core 12 to suppress outflow of rubber between the bead core 12 and the carcass ply 16. Therefore, the contact of a cord 17 of the carcass ply 16 and the bead core 12 is prevented for a long period to improve durability of a bead part 18.
