<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase of NOx or the like, increase an amount of air while lowering the temperature of exhaust gas, and lighten the color of the exhaust gas in a multicylinder supercharged engine. SOLUTION: The multicylinder supercharged engine includes a single air supply passage 10 connected to a compressor section 13b of a supercharger, and a plurality of exhaust gas passages 11, 12 separately connected to a turbine section 13a of the supercharger. One ends of air supply bypass pipes 21, 22 are connected in the middle of the exhaust gas passages 11, 12, respectively, and the other ends of the air supply bypass pipes are independently connected to the single air supply passage 10. A part of air in the air supply passage 10 is supplied to the exhaust gas passages 11, 12 through the air supply bypass pipes 21, 22, respectively. Change-over valves 25, 26 are provided in the air supply bypass pipes 21, 22 for opening or closing the air supply bypass pipes, which are so controlled as to open when load is within a predetermined range and to close when it is larger or smaller than the predetermined range.</p> |
