PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce impacts which may be generated by the transport between two processing machines and ensure that the processing by the two machines can be carried out at the right relative locations between each other. SOLUTION: The plate material processing system consists of a plate material processing machine 1 which processes a plate material W as the first half process and a plate material processing machine 2 which receives the material W transported from the machine 1 and carry out the additional processing as the second half process. The plate material processing machine 2 of the second half process is equipped with a plate material feeding mechanism 7 to feed the plate material W and a measurement mechanism 43 to measure the position of a hole of the plate material W. A control means 52 of the processing machine 2 is provided with an instruction means 60 for measurement hole processing to instruct the processing of a measurement hole 49. A measurement control means 58, to make the measurement mechanism 43 measure the positions of the measurement hole 49 and holes 31, 33 made by the plate material processing machine 1 of the first half process, is provided. The measurement control means 58 calculates the amount of compensation of the plate material feeding amount based on the measurement results at the holes 31, 33, 49. A compensation means 59 is provided to compensate the feeding amount of the plate material feeding mechanism 7 based on the calculation of the amount of compensation.
