PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoreceptor capable of obtaining excellent printing durability and having high durability, high performance and high reliability without any dispersion of potential characteristics. SOLUTION: In the photoreceptor 1 formed by successively laminating an organic photoreceptive layer 3 and a surface protective layer 4 on a conductive supporting body 2, the contact surface between the organic photoreceptive layer 3 and the surface protective layer 4 satisfies the relation of 0.03<=A/B<=0.3 (wherein, A is the peak intensity of bond energy 291.0 eV and B is the peak intensity B of bond energy 284.8 eV by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic analysis methods.
