PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently obtain a cooling effect meeting the air quantity of a cooling fan in a liquid crystal projector for introducing the light from a light source to an optical system and projecting the light as video light. SOLUTION: This structure for cooling optical parts has the cooling fan, air diffusers 63, 64 and 65 for blowing off the air discharged from the cooling fan toward a plurality of the optical parts 31 to 39 and fine wires 7 and 7 which are interposed between these air diffusers 63, 64 and 65 and a plurality of the optical parts 31 and 39 and extend in a direction orthogonal with the air flow.
