PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow objective determination for proper replacement timing of a bearing, in particular, the determination for the replacement timing of the bearing under inverter control. SOLUTION: After taking out vibrations generated from a rotating part 1 as acceleration signals, only the acceleration signals in medium-high-frequency areas are selected, the each selected acceleration signal is converted into a velocity signal, and an alarm is issued to execute a prescribed action for the rotaing part 1 when a vibration velocity level computed based on the velocity signal exceeds prescribed notification level.
