PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation of water-in-oil (W/O) type emulsion composition that provides pleasant feelings such as smoothness of the skin when applied, and having excellent durability of the effect. SOLUTION: This W/O type emulsion composition comprises a volatile component and a nonvolatile component containing a nonvolatile liquid oil, water, lipophilic powder and surfactant. The content of the lipophilic powder in the nonvolatile component is 50 to 80 wt.% of the total.
