PURPOSE: A two-step combustion type main burner for annealing furnace is provided which prevents air pollution by suppressing discharge of pollutants and non-burnt dust to the maximum, further improves productivity by securing sufficient heat capacity and obtains effect of preventing damage of annealing facility. CONSTITUTION: In a main burner for annealing furnace comprising a gas pipe(6) for supplying fuel gas, a subsidiary burner that is an ignition source, a radiant tube(3) for transferring heat to strip, and a heat exchanger for preheating an external air, the two-step combustion type main burner(1) for annealing furnace comprises a connection pipe(10) comprising a pressure measuring cock one end of which is connected to an air connection pipe communicated with the radiant tube, and which is capable of measuring air pressure so that first combustion air is distributed; a connection part(20) comprising an intermediate pipe(22) installed between an elbow(21) connected to the other end of the connection pipe and an other elbow(23) and equipped with a control valve(24) to control supply amount of air for first combustion, and first and second subsidiary pipes(26,27) to which flanges oppositely directed to each other are connected by connector(28) between the elbow(23) and an assembly nut(25) so that the first and second subsidiary pipes are communicated with each other, wherein the other end of the assembly nut is assembled with the gas pipe to guide the first combustion air distributed; and a pin tube(30) having certain length on one end of which a secession preventing projection(31) is projectingly formed in such a way that the one end of the pin tube is inserted into the assembly nut, on the outer circumferential surface of the other end of which a horizontal support(32) is installed to maintain the horizontal state in such a way that the outer circumferential surface of the other end of the pin tube is positioned in an internal space of the gas pipe, and which supplies the first combustion air distributed from an air connection pipe(3a) for supplying second combustion air into the radiant tube.
