PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink composition used for an ink jet record that is a water-ink composition which is superior in handling, odor, safety, and which assures a high jetting stability and has no defect in the qualities of images detained such as hue, weather resistance, waterproofness and stain, meanwhile the preservability of images has been improved under a severe condition. Further, by using the water-ink composition, to provide a method for the ink jet record by witch it is possible to form the picture that is superior in hue, weather resistance and waterproofness and has been improved for the defects such as stain, etc., in the image quality and image preservability with a good jetting stability. SOLUTION: The ink composition prepared by dissolving and/or dispersing a colorant contains water, a water-soluble organic solvent, a specific phthalocyanine compound as the colorant and a polyamine derivative. The method for the ink jet record using the ink composition is provided. |
