PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of simply and efficiently manufacturing a manifold in which a fluid passage having a curved shape and a mirror-finished inner face is formed in a base member. SOLUTION: The manifold 1 is provided with a base member 2 and a branch fluid passage formed in the member. The base member 2 is composed by mutually bonding a first and a second split base piece 4, 5. Grooves 42, 45 constituting a fluid passage 3 are formed on bonding faces 41, 51 of each split base pieces. Since each groove can be made only by cutting the surface of each split base piece, a groove having a curved branched part and a mirror-finished inner face can be easily formed. The first and the second split piece 4, 5 are piled, applied with a D/C current or a pulse current for a given time under a given pressing force, allowed to stand in a given heated state for a given time. Consequently, each bonding face is mutually bonded with a bonding strength comparable to the strength of a base material. Thus, the fluid passage 3 having the curved shape and the mirror-finished inner face is formed.
