PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tracking receiver in which both digital modulated and analog modulated (FM modulation) transmission waves can be tracked while ensuring the transmission distance equivalent to that of an analog modulated (FM modulation) wave even for a digital modulated wave. SOLUTION: The tracking receiver incorporates a digital demodulator 7 therein, generates an angular error voltage signal from the bit error rate of a digital modulated wave and makes a switching to an angular error voltage signal generated from the a level detection signal depending on the intensity of an incoming radio wave.
