PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press device which can easily and accurately correct the bottom dead center of a press by simple operation and with a simple structure. SOLUTION: The press device is provided with a press device body 4, a crankshaft 6 to be rotated in a prescribed direction, a slider 12 provided freely movably in the horizontal direction to the press device body 4, a receiving holder 16 supporting the slider 12, a connector 8 to convert rotation motion of the crankshaft 6 to reciprocating movement of the slider 12, a slide 32 to be reciprocatingly moved toward a machining area, and a link mechanism 35 to convert the reciprocating movement of the slider 12 to the reciprocating movement in the upper/lower directions of the slide 32. An inclined face inclining in a prescribed direction is formed on a mutual contact face of the press device body 4 and the receiving holder 12, when the receiving holder 16 is moved, the receiving holder 16 and the slider 12 are moved in the upper/lower directions by action of the mutual contact face, and by this, the bottom dead center of the slide 32 is corrected.
