The present invention relates to a bezel assembly (1) and to an electronic device such as a motor vehicle cassette radio, that has a demountable bezel portion (213) and a button and/or display carrier (5), and in particular to a latch mechanism (24) of unitary construction with the carrier (5) for releasing the demountable bezel portion. The bezel assembly comprises a bezel and a button and/or display carrier (5). The bezel has a fixed portion (3) and a demountable portion (213), the carrier (5) being affixed to the fixed bezel portion (3), and the fixed bezel portion (3) having a recess (113) in a front face thereof in which the demountable bezel portion (213) may be releasably secured. The carrier (5) has a latch mechanism (24) by which the demountable bezel portion (213) is releasably secured within the recess (113), the latch mechanism (24) being of unitary construction with the carrier (5). <IMAGE> |
