PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately decide the service life of a developing device as well as no toner and to assure prevention of error in use or error in action after deciding the service life. SOLUTION: In the device, a toner quantity detecting means to detect the toner quantity and a toner deficiency generation recording means which is an irreversible recording means are provided. In this case, recording is carried out by the toner deficiency generation recording means when it is detected that the residue quantity of the toner is less than a service life stipulating value by the toner quantity detecting means. |
