PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixed conductive oxide without isolation of components at high temperature region and having high oxygen permeability in case of industrial application and a method for manufacturing it. SOLUTION: A starting material containing metal components, with the ratio represented by the formula (1): Ba:Co:Fe=1:1-y:y (0<y<0.25), is heated at the temperature lower than 1050 deg.C to obtain a mixed oxide, fired at 950 deg.C or higher to obtain a dense mixed conductive oxide with 2.5% or less of the open porosity containing barium, cobalt, and iron as main components having the mol ratio represented by the formula (1). |
