PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing oxygen capable of manufacturing oxygen at high efficiency by increasing the oxygen permeability of a separation membrane for manufacturing oxygen and a method for reforming gas capable of reforming a gas at high efficiency by raising the oxygen permeable performance of a diaphragm reactor. SOLUTION: Oxygen is manufactured by using, as the separation membrane for manufacturing oxygen, a mixed conductive oxide which contains barium, cobalt and iron as the main component with molar ratio of the component elements shown in the following formula (1) and which is a dense material having an opening pore ratio of 2.5% or less. The gas is reformed by using such the mixed conductive oxide as the diaphragm reactor. Ba:Co:Fe=1:1-y: y...(1) (where 0<y<0.25). |
