PHENOLIC RESIN MOLDING MATERIAL AND THREADED MOLDED ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a phenolic resin molding material which can enhance tightening torque as compared with an existing resin screw and prevent a screw from loosening while maintaining mass productivity and moldability. SOLUTION: This material contains 100 mass pts. of a phenolic resin, 50-60 mass pts. of crushed cotton as a filler and 0.05-1.00 mass pts. of calcium montanate as a lubricant. Containing calcium montanate helps maintain mass productivity and processability and containing crushed cotton can enhance tightening torque remarkably over a conventional screw and manufacture a resin screw of which the loosening is suppressed.
