PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing artificial marble which can easily make an artificial marble product have multi-layers or be composite and obtain the product having functions such as lightweight, thermal insulation, reinforcement, toughness, high designability, and cost reduction. SOLUTION: In the method, a resin composition in which a pattern material, a filler, an internal mold release material, a curing agent, etc., are incorporated in a thermosetting resin is obtained, and a molding is obtained by injecting the composition in a prescribed casting mold and molding and curing the composition. The molding having at least three layers is obtained by repeating a molding operation with the distance between the upper and lower molds 1 and 2 of the casting mold made freely variable and with the distance between the upper mold 1 and the lower mold 2 changed. |
