PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a release film suppressed in the generation of static electricity at the time of handling, capable of reducing the mixing with foreign matter as a result, low in cost and capable of being suitably used for the lamination processing of prepreg/conductive foil. SOLUTION: The release film is used in a prepreg pressing process at the time of production of a conductive foil laminate and constituted by providing an antistatic layer on at least the single surface of a resin film. In the physical properties of this release film, a surface resistivity value under a 23 deg.C/50% RH environment is preferably 1×10<12>Ω/(square) or less and, as constitution, it is preferable to apply release treatment to the single surface or both surfaces of the resin film having an antistatic layer.
