<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming an image by which high picture quality and high succession in picture quality are obtained, extremely high durability is obtained and the method can be stably operated for a long time. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor used has at least a charge generating layer and a charge transfer layer successively formed on a conductive supporting body. The charge transfer layer contains a polymer compound having the structural unit expressed by general formula (1) as a binder resin. An electrostatic latent image formed on the photoreceptor is developed by using toner having <=9μm average volume particle size of the primary particles or using a spheric carrier having a resin coating layer formed on the surface of magnetic particles. In formula (1), each of R<1> , R<2> , R<3> , R<4> , R<5> , R<6> , R<7> and R<8> represents a hydrogen atom, halogen atom, 1-6C alkyl group which may have substituents, 4-10C cyclic hydrocarbon group which may have substituents or aryl group which may have substituents.</p> |
