PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease cost by reducing a number of parts, processing manhours, and assembling manhours, and to enhance assembling property and productivity. SOLUTION: This vane pump comprises: a side plate 9; a rotor in which a plurality of vanes, which are capable of being in contact with a cam face of a cam ring, are slidably arranged in a radial direction; and a vane guide 13 which sets a position in the radial direction of each of the vanes by bringing each of the vanes at rotation stopping of the rotor into contact with an outer peripheral surface 13e. The vane guide 13 made of a plate member is provided with tapered projections 13b integrally formed to the vane guide 13 by press working, and the projections 13b are respectively press fitted to bores 9b formed to a side plate 9, whereby the vane guide 13 is fixed to the side plate 9. |
