PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chart for room-layout determination for obtaining a target room layout by making both a client and a salesman speedily and sufficiently understand and a room-layout determining method using it. SOLUTION: The chart 1 for room-layout determination is provided with display fields 1a, 1b, and 1c wherein life styles are classified into culture life, gourmet life, and mental life and has art culture, drug culture, and music culture set in the display field 1a of culture life, communication gourmet set in the display field 1c of gourmet life, and woody natural and healing natural set in the display field 1c of metal life. The client selects a favorite life style from this chart 1 for room-layout determination and a set room layout matching the client is determined from a room-layout collection having specifications corresponding to respective settings of those life styles.
