PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform a driver of that an engine speed reaches to a prescribed value, without arranging an exclusive indicator within a display panel. SOLUTION: This unit is provided with a setting means D1 for setting the prescribed value at an optional value, a pointer needle 4 turned around a shaft based on a detection signal detected in response to the engine speed, a light emitting means 6 for illuminating the needle 4 with a plurality of colors, and a control means D3 for inputting the detection signal and for lighting-controlling the first and second light sources 61, 62 (light emitting means 6) to make the needle 4 emit the illumination colors when a value thereof reaches to the prescribed value.
