PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer casing for an outdoor apparatus for air conditioning capable of securing excellent corrosion resistance and design property equal or higher than conventional one even without painting, and provide a method, where throttling processing by oil free is compatible with resistance welding and capable of manufacturing an outer casing for an outdoor apparatus for air conditioning by abolishing an oiling process, a washing process, a painting process, etc., and cooling efficiency is improved when direct sunlight strikes the outdoor machine. SOLUTION: Top coat film thickness, elongation, an r-value, and the coefficient of dynamic friction are optimized, and an anticorrosion alloy plated steel sheet with top coating thereon is applied. Resistant welding is applied by applying a dome type electrode comprising a sintered compact of alumina dispersion type copper.
