PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide visual heating and to prevent the occurrence of an unsafe action by tentacle, in a heating device using a radiation element generating no light. SOLUTION: The heating device is provided with a light source 46 disposed in the vicinity of the radiation element; a surface temperature guessing means 42 having a heating capacity detecting part; a control part 41 to change a quantity of light of a light source 46 based on an indication value determined by the surface temperature guessing means 42. The heating device is designed to light a light source 46 and effect indirect light emission of the approximate whole of a radiation element and obtain a visual heating feeling and prevent the occurrence of an unsafe action by tentacle.
