PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a change in regulated distance of movement of a sliding door. SOLUTION: In a door stop for the sliding door 10, first and second door-stop mounting forms are made selectable, so as to enable a change in residual pulling distance. In the first door-stop mounting form, a base end 51 is mounted on a washer 40 in such a manner that a main body member 50, which serves as a long member, is parallel to the direction of the movement of the sliding door 10; and a relatively long residual pulling distance L1, which almost corresponds to a linear dimension L1 of the member 50, is provided. In the second door-stop mounting form, an engaging part 61 of an elastic member 60 is mounted on the washer 40 in such a manner that the member 50 is made parallel to a butt end surface 12 of the sliding door 10 or a door frame 70; and a relatively short residual pulling distance L2, which almost corresponds to a linear dimension L2 of the elastic member 60, is provided.
