A cartridge for the solidification of two liquid charges, comprises a hearth (1) with two cells (5, 6) for the charges and an electrode formed by an electric conductor joining the charges. The conductor (19) is massive and extends beyond the cells in an extension direction cutting an alignment direction of the cells and extending between the cells. The conductor may be a cylindrical rod of rhenium.
