PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy transmission capacity at high load time of a traction drive type speed change gear for a wind power generator, to improve transmission efficiency and the rolling fatigue service life at low load time, and to further prevent a motive power loss by a spin at low load time in a variable gear ratio type traction drive. SOLUTION: At least one traction drive 2 and 3 is arranged between a generator and a rotor for rotating by receiving wind. A variable pressurizing mechanism (such as torque cams 7 and 8) are arranged on a motive power transmission surface between traction members for changing and applying pressurizing force according to transmission torque transmitted to the generator side from the rotor side.
