<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a radar in which required detection accuracy is substantially enhanced without narrowing the scanning range of beam. SOLUTION: This radar stops for 1 ms every one degree between -10 degrees and +10 degrees on the approach route during scanning of beam azimuth to fetch signal, and it stops for 7 ms at zero degree of beam azimuth on the return route to fetch signal. Then, the signal is processed by a signal processing means whose detection accuracy becomes higher as the fetching time becomes longer, so that detection is made in a wide range on the approach route and important azimuth is accurately detected on the return route.</p> |
