PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a transparent resin having excellent colorless transparency and impact resistance, and also excellent performances such as cast molding property, thermal resistance and dyeability. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a transparent resin which is carried out by using a dinormal alkyl peroxydicarbonate as a radical polymerization initiator for the radical polymerization of a monomer composition containing a diallyl compound. The method for manufacturing a transparent resin in which the diallyl compound is at least one kind selected from diallyl phthalate, diallyl ester oligomers and ethylene glycol bis (allyl carbonate).
