PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct a deccelerating support reflecting vehicle driver's driving intention, in a winding road travel supporting device which conducts the deccelerating support for vehicle when decceleration is necessary for clearing a winding road appearing ahead of an own vehicle safely. SOLUTION: The brake output gain of a brake actuator 28 which adjusts the brake force exercised by wheel brakes BF, BR by allowing the brake output gain as the brake output ratio to the brake operation input by a vehicle driver to be changed is set by a brake gain characteristic setting means 46 corresponding to a response time from the start of alarm operation by an alarming means 38 to the start of braking operation by a vehicle driver corresponding to a judgement by a deccelertion necessity judgement means that decceleration is necessary based on the position of the own vehicle, vehicle velocity, distance from the position of the own vehicle to the winding road and an appropriate velocity for clearing the winding road.
