PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method comprising performing a tissue chemical examination for a stomach cancer tissue removed by performing a biopsy or surgical removing operation, and estimating whether metastasis of cancer becomes obvious within 2-3 years after the operation or not with a high probability by a high objective judgment work by use of the result. SOLUTION: For a thin piece sample of the removed stomach cancer tissue, all cancerous cell number and the cancerous cell number showing the binding capacity with Maackia amurensis leukoagglutinin by working the Maackia amurensis leukoagglutinin are counted, the content ratio of cells showing the binding capacity with the Maackia amurensis leuckagglutinin is used as an index, and when the content ratio exceeds 40%, it is judged that the frequency of causing the metastasis of cancer after the operation is high.
