PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small rotary probe comprising a rotating part capable of freely rotating around a fixed shaft part in which a divided type probe element is embedded, possible to be miniaturized. SOLUTION: This small rotary probe comprises the rotating part 2 capable of freely rotating around the fixed shaft part 1 through a bearing 3. The fixed shaft part having a divided type probe element 10 built-in is made rotatable in a sliding contact space between the fixed shaft part and the rotating part through a lubricating liquid film 3a, and a band-shaped contact ring 2b having flexible characteristics is coated on the outer periphery of the rotating part. This small rotary probe can be loaded on the body of a small unattended travelling car and can be small-sized too.
