SOLUTION: In cutting the ceramic green block 1 having an upper surface 1a, a lower surface 1b and first and second side surfaces 1c and 1d by the cutting blade 5, pressing force is adjusted corresponding to a cutting position due to the cutting blade 5 while applying pressing force to the ceramic green block 1 from the first side surface 1c by a press device 6 and the ceramic green block 1 is cut in this state by the cutting blade 5.
