CATIONIC POLYMER HAVING CONDITIONING EFFECT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cationic polymer by which stiff feeling in drying and conditioning effect in rinsing are improved in the case of hair cosmetics and stiff feeling to the skin is eliminated and greasy touch and slimy touch are improved and a problem which lacks stability in formulation of cosmetic is improved. SOLUTION: This cationic polymer is a polysaccharide known as a component constituting cell walls of higher plants such as beans, fruits, vegetables and rice and comprises xyloglucan polysaccharide which is a nonionic water-soluble polymer having glucose as a main chain and having galactose on side chain as a substrate and introduces a specific amount of quaternary nitrogen- containing group therein.
