PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bound nonwoven fabric useful as a substitute for a woven fabric, having durability of washing without emitting toxic formaldehyde and without being broken even by severe dyeing such as jet dyeing and having a soft touch feeling with slight fluffing. SOLUTION: This bound nonwoven fabric is obtained by carrying out a water stream interlacing treatment of a fiber web containing polyester fibers, etc., providing a water stream interlaced nonwoven fabric, then applying an aqueous emulsion of an oxazoline cross-linkable acrylic resin having an area swelling ratio within the range of >=100 to <=110% in hot water at 60 deg.C to the nonwoven fabric, drying and curing the applied emulsion. Furthermore, the bound nonwoven fabric is dyed with a dye by using a jet dyeing machine to afford a colored nonwoven fabric. |
