摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing, at a low cost, an Al-Si alloy matrix composite material in which thermal expansion coefficient in a part of a member can be easily controlled. SOLUTION: This Al-Si alloy matrix composite material in which SiC powder or SiC fiber is complexed with Al-Si alloy and the thermal expansion coefficient of the composite material is controlled by gradiently distributing the filling factor of SiC in SiC in the composite material within the range from 40 to 80 vol.% is obtained.
