PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability for attaching and detaching a release coupling device. SOLUTION: In a clutch release mechanism for releasing clutch coupling by means of drawing out an inner peripheral portion of a diaphragm spring 5 using a release bearing 6, the release coupling device 1 is one for coupling the diaphragm spring 5 and the release bearing 6. The release coupling device 1 is provided with an annular lever plate 2, an inner race 3 and a guide ring 4. The lever plate 2 is fixed to the inner peripheral portion of the diaphragm spring 5 and has a plurality of convex portions 15 on an internal peripheral surface thereof. The inner race 3 has, on an outer peripheral surface thereof, a plurality of convex portions 26 abutting against a side surface of a clutch in a plurality of the convex portions 15 and is roratable. The guide ring 4 is a member for engaging a plurality of convex portions 15 and 26 with each other through rotating the inner race 3 when the lever plate 2 and the inner race 3 are assembled.
